Char: «BEST I TEST» «The ultimate packraft for wilderness adventures» (Hunting and fishing, May -22)
Char is our best packraft with the best design and the best materials: Imported nylon 66 with super-strong layers of urethane. This has proven to be a very safe choice for several years. The high quality of the materials means that this is also the lightest packraft with the lowest volume when you put it in your backpack. The Char models are the same ones that Lars Monsen sold under the name Karasjohka Ultra Light. He therefore chose the best packraft!
Char 245 is suitable for people up to 185 cm. When you use the 20 cm seat, you'll experience the packing power with more space.
- The most expensive materials for packrafts. Nylon 66. (Double the price of materials compared to other «cheap» brands.) We are the only «Scandinavian» brand that carries this material.

We are very happy with this boat so far. We have used it in the sea with waves, and in fresh water. A little extra equipment must be expected for fishing (for example, rod holder).
It is functional and lightweight, but at the same time sturdy for use in outdoor life by sea and land....:-)

Very satisfied with the pack power, the quality is impeccable. Used on two long trips, but also take it on short fishing trips. I feel inhibited without it. With the handheld electric pump, it's no hassle to inflate it anyway.
My best buy in 2021.

Thank you very much 🙂
