Char is our best packraft with the best design and the best materials: Imported nylon 66 with super-strong layers of urethane. This has proven to be a very safe choice for several years. The high quality of the materials means that this is also the lightest packraft with the lowest volume when you put it in your backpack. The Char models are the same ones that Lars Monsen also sells in his stores under the name Karasjohka Ultra Light. He has therefore chosen the best packraft!
Char 285 is suitable for people up to 200 cm + an extra small person or dog.

Fast delivery and excellent service made the acquisition of the Packraft a breeze. The packrafts have been used for both playing in rivers and longer trips in various waterways. I'm 185 cm tall and bring a large backpack and an English setter with me on trips. The XL size was therefore perfect. My wife, who is 168 cm tall, bought the Large, which gives her, the backpack and the dog plenty of room. We mostly use an electric pump to get air into the boats, and then we're ready with two boats in just over five minutes. Incredibly stable in the river and quite decent propulsion on flat water, about 3-4 km/h. We recommend attaching ropes around parts of the boat to make it easier to hold and lift out of the water or hold on to if you go over. The alternative is that you often pull on the attachment to the splash cover, which leads to unnecessary wear and tear. The packrafts are incredibly lightweight, which means that even small children can paddle around in them, much to their delight. We've been using ours for a season now and there are no weak points or wear and tear to be seen so far. An incredibly good product at a reasonable price, and very good service made it easy for us to choose Kipara

In this packraft there is plenty of room for an adult, a dog (35kg) and a backpack. Very stable, lightweight & fun to paddle. Quick to inflate with electric pump and easy to pack up again. In addition to paddling, the packraft was used as a comfortable sleeping place on the trip. Worked very well.

Incredibly easy to paddle with, very satisfied. Used it for a week on Hardangervidda and paddled about 12 km every day with a smile on my face.
Lost the fin on the trip and then it became a little more difficult to fish. It turns 180 degrees when you stop paddling (when the backpack was not on).
The wife bought 265 and smiles just as much.
