Char is our best packraft with the best design and the best materials. This has proven to be a very safe choice for several years. Now we've made it even better! This new model uses 1000 denier Kevlar in the floor and 420 denier nylon 66 in the tubes. This is the most solid packraft we have ever made! The Char models are the same ones that Lars Monsen also sells in his stores under the name Karasjohka Ultra Light. He has therefore chosen the best packraft!
Char 265 is suitable for people up to 200 cm.

This packraft is really solid, it's very stable, and has comfortable seats. I personally only use the 20cm seat cushion, and then it's perfect. I am 183 cm tall. There is enough space for a small backpack in front of the legs towards the bow. The pack size is somewhat larger than other packrafts I've experienced, as it has Kevlar in the bottom which makes it quite stiff to work with when packing. But it's worth it for the solid packraft it is. I roll/fold it and attach it upright on my large touring backpack, easily accessible. Otherwise, the included air pump works very well, making it easy to fill with air what is needed. The paddle also works very well; I chose red as it matches my life vest. Overall, brilliantly satisfied.
