The top model Char is our best packraft with the best design and the best materials: Imported nylon 66 with super-strong layers of urethane. This has proven to be a very safe choice for several years. The high quality of the materials means that this is also the lightest packraft with the lowest volume when you put it in your backpack. The Char models are the same ones that Lars Monsen also sells in his stores under the name Karasjohka Ultra Light. He has therefore chosen the best packraft!
Char 245 is suitable for people up to 185 cm tall. The only difference between this model and the test winner Char 265 is the size. The materials, design, and production are the same.
Jakt & Fiske has conducted a thorough width test of 10 different packrafts over 6 months. Kipara came out on top with 5.5 out of 6 possible points!

Have two other packrafts in the house, and this is absolutely the preferred one. Super to paddle, excellent quality, plenty of attachment points, and nice to have the option to remove the spraydeck when desired. Small pack volume, and very light for its size.

Buy once, cry once! Don't regret a second that I went for this. Just got back from paddling the Kvenna river at low water levels, with a heavy(!) large backpack and(!) a beagle onboard! The packraft has taken quite a beating from grounding and more or less controlled runs through rapids, but held up perfectly until the end! Watertight and in good condition! Tracks well and is easy to paddle, and a pain in the a** in headwinds like all other packrafts. Plenty of fastening options. Set up with a sail for camouflage in tailwinds, and a rod holder for fishing! Looking forward to the next trip! They forgot to send the two luxury seats.. only got the 20 cm one, but I don't know what I'm missing out on. Highly recommended anyway!
